Hit by car and still going strong (don't worry, no one was in it)
This travel system (stroller, car seat, & base) was bought for us 18 months ago before our child was born. The base was very easy to install in the car, and it made taking the car seat in and out very simple. If you have another car, and don't want to spend $80 on another base (you may find a better price, we didn't look very hard), it's is also pretty simple to run the regular seatbelts through the baby seat and it holds the baby seat in strongly.
We have now outgrown the baby seat, but we use the stroller on a regular basis and it is holding up strong. And that includes the time we backed into it with the car. Everyone was all loaded in the car, and the stroller was in its folded position in the drivers blind spot. The only thing that happened was it broke the spokes of the back left wheel. The supplier mailed us out a replacement and we received it within a week.
The one hand fold/unfold, and standing up folded position is a dream. It is SUPER easy to hold a...

Eddie Bauer Trailmaker Travel System-Ridgewood
Just received this system yesterday and can't wait to put it to good use with the Grandson. We looked and looked everywhere for a stroller travel system that would meet all this grandma's needs because I will be walking around a lot during the day and wanted something light, easy fold and unfold, rugged, easy car seat in and out etc. This system was it and it even fit into my budget. The colors are perfect for this grandson but could be used later for the next grandchild. Very impressed with the construction and how easy it was to put together. I don't know why anybody ever shops in stores this was so easy to get and order.
Good but not great
I chose this set as the one I originally put on my registry went up over 50.00 (only to go back down after purchasing this) and wanted something unisex (we are having a girl and wanted to be able to use it for the next one) without being brown. I like the pattern and that the blue doesn't seem so blue that it's just for a boy. My biggest disappointment is that the padding is not very thick, to me, I think it is to thin, I personally would not want to be sitting in there for a long period without more padding. You can feel the plastic and how hard it is just barely pressing on it. Being first time parents, this was also a little hard to figure out as far as how to get the seat out and once you pulled up the hood on the seat it wasn't easy to put back down. There isn't much assembly required that was great. I'm only 5'0 and I also like that the carrier is not that heavy compared to other ones I have held. Will it make it for the next baby? I'm not sure, but it will work fine for our...
