It's great, but...
I bought this carseat at my local Sears store. It's a great carseat, but there was a few problems that I ran into. The extra padding around the base of the seat is great if you have a five or six pound baby, but be aware that it's not attached. It's just set in there for added padding if you want it. I was buying for my 45" 42 lb 3 yr old. The straps come up high enough to fit him comfortably, and grow with him for a while yet. The headrest also comes up high enough to fit him comfortably and support him. The seat itself is small enough on the base that it fit to the seat in my car and didn't hang over and get my son too close to the seat in front of him. However, there are only two crotch straps. The very back and one that would be the middle on other seats. This caused my son to sit on the belt but the buckle was clear and able to be attached.

However, the price was the biggest issue I was having. I mean yes, it's nice seat and yes, it was the right size for my son...

Good for a compact seat, but has its issues.
I got this seat because I need a more compact seat for my car. It's nice but the cup holder is pointless and the material started pilling up with the first use right where her shoes touch it. Also there is a bit of difficult adjusting the straps. Since the adjuster strap runs under the seat it gets wedged between the seat of the car and the bottom of the car seat. It can be difficult to adjust once the seat is in. This is hard because I like to losen the straps to get her out and trying green them after buckling her in. This is not practical with this seat. I'm keeping it because it fits, but it is certainly not my favorite.
Fancy Name. Cheap Seat.
I felt compelled to write a review of this seat because there are so little out there. This seat is just "ok" Basically, it carries the Eddie Bauer name, but cosco quality. I'll list the Cons and Pros

Cons:

1. This seat is horrible to install RF. I attempted to install this seat RF in our Ford Edge in the middle seat. Unfortunately after multiple & exhausting attempts I gave up. I can not get a tight fit & proper recline no matter what. I moved the seat to passenger side, and the fit is a bit tighter, but not ideal.
2. The chest clip is cheaply made plastic. I'm fairly certain that I could snap it apart with one hand.
3. The straps are constantly getting twisted and there is no mechanism to prevent this. They also must be rethreaded. This seat does not come with shoulder pads.
4. There is no cover for the buckle & it would be very easy to hurt chubby baby thighs this way. I've caught myself on this multiple times.
5. There is no level bubble,...
